Ok so here is the deal, my rich as friend of mine bought a pair of ar6'ss mounted em with p12 jibs rode em once and decided he doesnt like them. He wants to trade me, he wants my rossi scratch eco's (white 04 model)and a pair of look pk12's i got of SAC for his pair of ar6's they are the right length, i just didnt know how compareable it is to the Scratch's in durability and stiffnes?? Help would be greatly appreciated
i would do it. because trading an 03-04 model for an 06-07 model is an awesome deal in itself if the skis are fit for, especially for ar6s. you're basically ripping your friend off!! haha
Are both skis the same condition? some people prefer px12 to the p12, and others the opposite, so it depends what you like. Maybe trade for like a day to see if you like it or not? (but that might end up in your friend refusing to trade or whatever)
they're not stiff skis at all, i thought they were too soft as an all mountain ski (but im 5'10" 180), but they woulld be sick for a lighter person or make a good park specific ski. make the trade, you get new stuff, and if you want to sell it after a while, the AR6s have more resale value.
Ok i dont think u guys get it, i want to know more about the ar6's then i do about advice on trading, how durable are they, whats the flex like ( i weigh 140) how is there over all c arving ability things like that. I know its a super good deal, but i dont wanna regret something stupid cuz my rossi's are pretty nice ski ( well i think they r )
yeah if you're only 140 they'l make a sick ski, the flex should be good for you all mountain and you'll still kill it in the park. also you''ll like that they're a little fatter for stomping landings and maybe a little fresh snow.
there's a reason we don't talk about it, first if we did it we get annoying with people making bunch of threads when good stuff is up. 2nd, when you post it, more people know about it, giving you less oportunitty to get the useful products when they come up (and trust me, last year good stuff would last more than 10 minutes). thirdly, recently there hae been people buying the SAC gear like bindings and goggles then reselling imediately ater the purchase, not even having the product in their possesion.
theyll be fine for u i thoought they were awsome and i way 120 not to stiff and not to soft...of course theres going to be chipping since its sandwich construction but still thats a steal i think ull like em more then them ecos
