Spy goggles question

im thinking about buying the soldiers with the BLUE/ORANGE SPECTRA MIRROR lens and i was wondering if that is a good all purpose lens or if its more for sunny days? heres a pic:

the normal mirrors from spy are pretty good, and not as dark as oakley (which is the only other company that makes a mirror where you can't see the eyes at all)

at least from my experience, my smiths you could see, and same with anons and electrics. im not sure about the gold mirror though.
