The original Oakley fur was my favorite, very soft and full, yet was still able to retain its fluffiness after getting wet.
I was very disappointed when the anorak 2.0 came out with some of the shiestiest, thin and aesthetically unappealing fur.
This downhill progression was only worsened when the new cohort 3.5 was released with an even more pathetic attempt at mimicking what comes naturally to creatures of the forest. Lack of density, thin, brittle hairs and an ugly grey tone to finish it off.
Never having ordered anything from Obermeyer before, I was skeptical about what quality fur would come with the dub XL revert jacket. Very, very bushy and thick, very soft, with nice layering – a true northeast fur feeling. The tone – a mix of lighter “wheat” colors with the protruding black/darker tones blend exceptionally well.
haha i know I was thinking that at the end how he sounds like hes describing the flavour of a wine or something. but congrats on finding some nice fur? and for the books, i think for is sick on ski apparel as long as its used properly. oakley pulls it off very well
nomensteven was going to skin a cat and replace the actual cat fur for the fur on his cohort. He was also going to keep the head on it and have it dangle off one side of the hood (i.e. on peck area) ... i'm not joking either.
hahaha this is hte funniest thread ever. Hey i have a question. I got my fur wet and put it throug hthe dryer and now it looks like a scouring pad or steel wool or something. How do i fluff it up and straighten it up again? I tried combing. It helped a little but still needs tons of work.
