Replying to Shitty House Cleaners

my house cleaner is horrible, she breaks expensive things we have and hides them on bookshelves behind the books hoping that my parents will find them one day and blame one of us instead of her.  We have found her in our drawers takings stamps and putting them on her own bills to mail out.  i had a few unopened packs of gum on my desk and when i came home, she had opened a pack and taken a few pieces of gum out.  We can't fire her because she needs the work and her husband is less than great but her work ethics are horrible.
