Yeah so I bet a lot of people on here have broken ipods before. Mine just broke because I happened to drop it on the sidewalk. I was just wondering if you guys ever went through the trouble to get it fixed/replaced. I talked to the guys at apple and they said its not on the 1 year warranty anymore so theres pretty much nothing they will do for me. Researching online I've seen a lot of third party sites where you can send it to and they will do repairs for you. Just wondering if you guys have any experience with this, how much it costs, how long etc.
get a new nano, and buy it at target cuz they give u a 3 yr warranty for 19 bones, ive already landed on mine 1000 times dropped it a couple times and its pretty duarable with its new aluminum case thingy.
yea i wouldnt go through apple or best buy or where ever you got it, ill get a link for this awesome site that fixes them for you, or ships you the thing to do w/e u need with do it ur self instructions
there's 6.23x10^23 more of these, and not all of them are about them being broken from being dropped or damaged by the owner in some way. hell i just dropped my creative down a flight of stairs today and it works perfectly, i just have never believe ipods to be all that tough.
and does your creative have a hard drive?
if it does you could have broke the platters in it, but if there blank you wont know untill you try to put music on them. then youre fucked.
Dude I don't care about how easy they do/ don't break, but you can't get mp3 players which have more space AND options for cheaper... that's what I meant. I'm not an ipod hater though, I just think people should at least check the market. Most people don't, and I think that's retarded.
why the hell buy a nano, there to small, need a vid to fit all the music on,, and that sucks about ur ipod, i think ur best bet is to buy a new one because s&H is going to cost a shit load and they usually charge a lot to repair it.
ipods are way durable as long as your not a dumbfuck like me and drops your ipod video into a running bath while emptying my pockets. I was ipodless for like 4 months then i got the new nanos pretty sweet lil things
Yeah I know what a searchbar is fuckface. If you would take your own advice you would find out that all the threads created talk about how they broke and about how it sucks. I'm not complaing or blaming apple it was my own fault. I created this thread to ask if anyone had any experience with the resources I mentioned. The "use the searchbar" rebuttal is completly overplayed and you should hold your tongue with that dumb complaint if your not even going to check it yourself. Thank you.
