i learned the wall one before the on the ground one. way easier in my opinion.
once on a field trip i told somebody i can do them. I did one to show him then mad people started asking me to do it. so i did it and i fucked up SO badly. i came down on my face and then my knees hit the ground (concrete...). it hurt so bad and i could barley walk for so long.
i really wnana give a wallflip a shot...but my flips are so slow im used to doing them off high diving platforms and i have to do them slow...so htats just how i am
hahaha. i tried doing a front flip off like 3 ft. dunes this summer, got a bad footing, and had a poor tuck. luckily my neck broke my fall. kind of like throwing my shoulder/neck/head right into the ground and you could hear my body hit the sand big time.
i have a video on my digital camera, but cant upload it cuz the battery is broken and i lost my usb cord. i am getting new shit next week, so ill try and post it
try to do a flip on crutches. like run up the wall, and if its a low cieling, hen onto the cieling, and around. it seems easier, not that ive ever done it.
yeah i landed it today, mad easy, just get a little mat undernieth you and u will feel 76.5 times more confident. first, try to put on foot on the wall, and just flip backwards and land on ur hands, almost like a back handspring. then after u got that, justr get pumped, and huck. ill put my vid up like tmo or something if u still want it
I did one when I was buzzed/drunk one night off this pillar in the dorm lounge. My friends pushed pillows from our couch under me but i kinda flipped sideways and landed on the ground. Lucky I was on my feet. Moral of the story is it's not that hard.
I'm assum, ing you are right handed....so run at the call then plant your RIGHT foot first about belly button level and let your knee bend a bit. Now plant your left foot at like face level and kick back hard then just look for your landing and pull your knees in and you have it. Its pretty easy to have friends spot you too. You won't have to tuck up after your first couple tries either you will learn them layed out and they feel better.
