Can I get a review of the Atomic Urban Triplets?

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone here skis the Atomic Urban Triplets and if they could tell me the quality of the ski for park/all mountain skiing. Reason I am asking this here is because I have not seen anyone here in Indiana skiing this ski so I haven't gotten the chance to ask them how they like them. Can anyone give me some help? Thanks in advance!

Judging by the name of the skis you would think that but I'm not sure what the name really means. I would assume that they just use that name to sound "cool" since they aren't known for their twip tip skis.

i havent used them extensively (only tried on my friend's pair for a run or two), but i thought they were awesome. really really lightweight. not a ton of flex, but that couldve been cause they were brand new. double edge to prevent blowouts is sweet. all in all, i wouldnt discourge anybody from purchasing a pair.

i have em. they are really fun. i find them a bit stiff (184) and they are so light its incredible. but the double edge thing is terrible. my inner edges are like seperating from the base and so are all the other ppl i know who have them

I got them too but I dont use them too much. They are really light like the others said and fairly stiff. They work great for groomers and park which is all you do in Indiana im guessing. I live in Washington and used them a few times in pow but really its not made for much off piste stuff from my experience. I use my Head Mad Trix for anything but park for the most part, even then I love my Mad Trix. Ive also noticed that the Triplets seemed to be slower than my Head skis. But for indiana, I think the triplets would be a good pair for ya.

Sounds like a baseless opinion, not a review.
If you think they suck, support it.

yeah that same thing is happening to my friends. he tried to warrenty them but the store just said "thats why there are 3 of em" then he mounted up the new one and started doing the same thing in like 5 or less days. i wouldnt suggest them until they work the bugs out

I have some atomic urban triplets. they WERE really great skis, very versatile, maybe a bit stiffer than usual for park skis. i really liked them on rails, and they were stable in the air, but be carefull: I broke 2 of them pretty easy, i was on the 172 ( i think, maybe it was 170 or 174, whatever they come in...) and went into one of those stupid bumps that little kids make, and it broke right under the foot., other one in a gully with some powder it cut through then hit ice. I'm only about 5 10 , 160 pounds, although im pretty aggressive skier, i shouldnt be able to snap skis that easy. It looks to be where the bindings were screwed in that it broke, so maybe its just the shop that i got to do it... but still unless you dont care about losing however much money you spent on them, i would look for something else.
o ya and if u decide to get them look on ebay i got mine for about 200 with 3 bindings =) least i didnt lose too much when they broke, the bindings still are fine.
i really like my scratchs although theyre bit small, u could look at rossi scratchs instead
