the only thing that will be wierd with the phone, is who will the service be. because apples products are usually very exclusive so the company that gets to have the phone will be pretty damn lucky

why would apple name it the iphone when they already knew cisco had the name copyrighted. they're gonna shell out millions in litigation and not even get the name. if they think it was a good marketing ploy, no, it's just fucking retarded.

the name iPhone was registered by Cisco but might have been up in 2006, the next in line for it was supposedly a holding company for Apple.

if you follow apple you d notice their stock has been down because they are being sued by Cisco for that name.... Jobs will probably just rename the iPhone to the (Apple)Phone just like he had to do with iTV to (Apple)TV
