Karma question -- 177 vs. 185 ?

I am 6'2", 215 lbs.
Ride:
Park - 30%
Big Mtn -30%
Woods - 40%
I am an expert skiing and have been riding since I was 2. I Am looking for advice as to whether I should go for the 177cm or 185cm Volkl Karmas. I was immediately thinking I should go for the 185 but I haven't had a lot of experience with Volkl skis so I figured I'd ask some of you that have them or have ridden them. Any advice is helpful. Thanks!

Since they are a little stiffer and you ride woods 40% of the time, I instinctively want to say 177. But upon further inspection of weight, and the big mountain, I'm going to have to go with 185. Final Answer. They'll be a little heavy to swing in the park, but I think overall it is a better choice, and they'll still turn in the woods. And I'm assuming that you're not going to mount them true center, cause that'd just be stupid

Before I had 180 Concepts (blue ones), have had em for a few years. Before that I rocked the 180 cow print concepts. Been loyal to dynastar forever but I wanted something fatter. The concepts were too skinny for my liking although I used to love em.

I would also say go 185, my buddy rocks the 177's, and they are super nice sticks, but he's also like 5'10" - 130lbs. From what he says they aren't bad on swing weight, so you should be okay throwing aroung the 185's, he's not a park rat either, and he loves those things in all conditions, any terrain, and they are all but indestructible (he's got the 05/06 models I believe, with the grip-tape-ish topsheet)
SO for someone of your size and experience, I would say rock the 185, no sweat.

i have this years 177's and i love them, i am 5'10" and 165 so if i were you i'd definitely go for the 185's. I just got back from Lake Louise and wish i had just a little more ski
