Is it really worth an extra year of school and a huge research/thesis paper?

Are you looking to do further post graduate education? Like grad school, law school, med school? An honors degree will definitely give you an advantage when applying. But idk it can depend on the university... like here at Pitt you don't need to go to school an extra year. We have an honors college that you take courses from to get the honors degree.

Some questions you need to ask yourself: Am I in arts or science? What program am I in? Do I want to go through a graduate program? If the answers to all these questions are yes, then don't apply because you are an idiot; only 1 question is a yes or no.
I don't know where you're getting the extra year though, we have it in the 4 year program here, and everywhere else i was interested in.

you need the honors so that you can do the masters degree.
All times are Eastern (-5)
