so i am in digital photography class going over some pics that i took at snoqualmie this weekend and the sub looks over my shoulder and was like "snoqualmie?" and i was like yeah. he then tells me that is where he learned to ski and then tells me that he started Powder Magazine! and he is currently an editor for it. how crazy is that?
one of the kids i coach in whistler was skiing off peak chairs waterfall when some guy bombholed to flat and was stuck, so he tried to get to him and dig him out...it ended up being darryl treadway, my kids substitute teacher the day before...teaching math or hucking cliffs?
Yeah Daryll Treadway used to sub science for me. Instead of science, I would find pics of him in magazines, show them to him and ask "Yo daryll, that you?"

so yeah, somebody by the last name Moe, apparently David Moe, founded Powder magazine. I wouldn't doubt then that he is an editor still in some capacity...
Yea I had a substitute teacher who was a ski bum for 5 years of his life. I asked him about it and he had some pretty cool stories to tell. We spent the whole class period talking about skiing. Except he was pretty much homeless after 5 years of just skiing and had to get a job and became a sub. teacher.
wow i never knew that... "Sheahan previously served as Vice President of Marketing for Merrell Footwear, Category Marketing Manager at Nike ACG, and Editor/Publisher of POWDER Magazine."
