a few months ago in my towns papers police report there was quite the funny one.

this is no quote but it went something like " at 3:47 am plice were notified of a man behaving oddly at a local gas station. after being breathalized he had near a 2% BAC level more then 25 times a legal BAC to drive with (.08% in mass, and more then 4 times above the average lethal doesage of alchohol (around .5% for average person) he was spotted talking to and then dancing with the gas pump" it was something like that. ALL i remember for sure was the 8 times above the toxicity and 25 times leagal levels and talking to gas pump. can you even imagine though? how much must he have had to drink in the past few days to get a BAC of 2%

who knows man. I learned from drug councilors that .5 bac kills everyone. and some people build their tolerance up so high that they can drink to .5 without being THAT drunk and they just drop dead. Even still, thats like pounding 2 5ths. He would've had to drink like a Keg of hard alc.

i was a bar tender for about 2 years and then ran a bar for a year.
in australia the rules are a little fuzzy when it comes to shots
one shot is meant to be a standerd drink which contains 10mg of alcahol however when drinking spirits such as jager or vermoth where the alcahol content is alot stronger then say shnapps bar tenders usually pour the same amount which is 30 mils into a shot glass, you will also notice that at a bar when ordering say a rum and coke the bar tender for legal reasons should not free pour but put 1 shot in a glass then fill with coke.
and as for the drinking 25 shots in a night well i couldnt do it and as a bar tender i would have around 5 or six shots at work over a night then start drinking in the morning with the rest of the staff and have andother say 10 so around 15 shots (this also includes things like rum and coke) and i would be tanked. i would do this 4 or 5 times a week so i am a pretty regular drinker.
i have also seen people at bars drink around 30 shots and be able to walk out of the bar, and once i have seen a guy do 40shots in a night plus beer however he wasnt walking by the end of it.
so the morale of the story is year you can do it but you need to have alot of body fat, a strong liver (drink alot and dont smoke) and be drinking fairly regularly

see theres a difference between drinking and getting drunk. When I'm at a party I drink, that means a few beer's and mabey a shot or 2. While doing that I watch people get drunk, which is many beers(ushually 8+) and multiple shots and hits straight from the bottle. If your responsible and know your limit drinking is bad at all

this stuff all depends on body size and tolerance really. the more often you drink the more tolerance you'll have and the more it will cost you to get drunk each time.
