ive seen this movie several times, everytime i see it i notice new things, like the significance of spirals. this is a pretty deep movie, what are everybodys opinions on it?

My opinion is that this is like the millionth thread we've had about this same topic

but yes, fantastic movie, have seen it about 8 or 9 times.

yeah ive seen it twice and its sick, but how does he prevent himself from getting out of bed in the end so he dies, does he go back in time and prevent himself from taking the pills or does he go back in time and use the dream thing?

some people think that everything that happens is him seeing the future from a point just before the engine crashes into his house. either way, i think he chooses to die because he sees everything that would happen if he didnt die. theres probably a lot of ways to interpret it though.

I really enjoy this movie everytime i watch it. Especialy the parts when he asks 'How much are they paying you to be here' and then goes off. That is solid.

that is a great movie i also notice some thing new everytime i watch it. me and my friend went and saw garry jewels(maker of the donnie darko soundtrack) accoustic it was one of the sweetest concerts ive ever been to. i got my ticket signed by him.

it's called a fibonachi spiral, and it just foreshadows everything that's about to happen. basically everything in the movie foreshadows something else later on.
