Vancouver freestyle for me?

So what I've been finding this season is I'm not progressing as fast as I would like to, I've hit a dead spot. I can slide most boxes and some rails, do 180's and 3's, but I wanna step it up, learn 270-outs, 5's on tables etc... the problem is that when I ride I ride with mostly snowboarders and some skiers who aren't quite as good as me, so I'm not learning anything. I want to ride with people better than me so I can improve. Could Vancouver Freestyle do this for me? Honestly, I'm fuckin 16 and I've seen 10 year olds that can out-ski me!

you can always progress
freestyle clubs are a great place to do things such as this
but most of the time you learn by doing it and practicing, so if you ride with people that help you increase your skills
Also Having someone Critique you improves your skiing so much because they can see things your doing that you don't notice.
So watch other, listen to others and learn... and practice

Just ski with people who are better than you, they will do crazy shit and will have fun which will lead you to doing crazy shit, which will result in you progressing. If Vancouver Freestyle offers that, then sure, but for some reason I get the feeling that you're not really into moguls...

i know what you mean, but the issue is i dont really know any skiers (i dont even know many people anyways, cause i moved here recently). The reason i thought of vancouver cause then i would meet people who ski park and stuff so i could learn from them.

Why don't you just show up to a BNB day, or Lord of the Park, and meet people. No one really cares if you can't stomp cork 7s. I sure as hell can't.
Unless Berman is filming me apparently.
