well i hope you east coast people get snow. PNW had a terrible season two seasons ago, and nobody should have go through that. It's better when everybody has snow.
But colorado places only have, like... 40" bases, which is pretty thin. B.C., Washington, Oregon... wayyy more snow.
Ive been to mountain creek in new jersey, so i really wouldnt know if new yorks mountains are any bigger/ smaller... but man Our city hill is longer and higher. haha.
Oh well its still shredding right?
Hope it chills out and dumps so everyone can have some.
hmm im in keystone right now and colorado is amazing. it hasnt stopped snowing since thurs night . not to brag or anything :) ... dont worry though, ill be back on the east coast soon, complaing too.
ya fuck colorado for being able to ski and do what we love...
frontier airlines is having a sale to fly to denver, why dont you fly out there and tell them to fuck themselves, BUT PLEASE dont ski while you there... you need to make your point!
its ok Grant....we want it that way. you also forgot to mention how everything u said in terms of snow here is all a lie and that nobody should come here
exactly. like we were talking about last night, the roads were just too trecherous (chains required for all wheel drive for a while???) and stuff. besides, there arent any real resorts, so the skiing sucks
y is everyone always arguing about who has more snow? who gives a shit. if ur under 18 (most of you are) you really cant choose where you live. and colorado really doesnt have any snow right now except a few resorts on the east side of the divide. boulder has a ton which is great for urban tho. i have been taking advantage. 10 rails in the past 2 weeks.
ummmmmmmmmm I'm an east coaster in colorado right now and you are an idiot if you think this is bad. first of all, I've been watching it snow all night after a day of skiing 12 inches of pow in the trees left over from a storm a day ago. where the hell in colorado do you ski? If you lived on the east coast for one year you might actually appreciate what you have.
dudes... to those who live in snow-retarded areas: move to alaska. I'm sure theres plenty of space up there, and you don't even need a resort! Just buy a sled and you'll be set
yup living on the east coast would suck, i guess i have high standards. i say the snow is good when you can build a kicker facing any direction (north S, E, W) and the landing is nice soft new stuff that is not wind blown, crusty or slushy.
well if it makes any of you feel better today was pretty sucky here. it was super windy and super cold at breck. i rode up the lift with a ski patroler and he said that it was -17 with the wind chill. i only got to ski like 3 hours cause it was so cold!
