I tried them out yesterday for the first time this season in a 181 they are now my favorite skis. They seemed kinda wide at first but when you get used to them they are so dope. Im 205 lbs. and they arent too soft but actually pretty stiff, I can sort of butter them but they are not noodles. I hit a few rails wih them and they feel pretty solid and light for their overall size. I had them mounted in between true center and the reccomended point on the ski which is about -2 from true it isnt too great for all mountain but skiing switch its so nice. I didnt get to hit any jumps but I was throwen 3's off the drops on the trails and they spun with ease. At the end of the night there were deffinetely no signs of delamination just a few little topsheet chips which is no biggy. To anyone who is thinking about buying these skis for an all mountain twin I highly reccomend it.
true this. although they do soften up a little bit I've ridden mine like 10 days and they are noticabley softer than the first day I rode them. they are hella fly though you'd be a fool not to buy these things. I rode them the last two days in 1-2 feet of pow and considering that they are 2 back from true center they did pretty well. fat enough to float once ya get going, yet still skinny enough to be super fun in the park. mine are 181s too I made a review in the review section but I think I need to go update it if thats possible cuz I reviewed them after like 2 days or somethin.
i have my ar6s mounted at true center, and they are super sick, the definitely soften up after a few times on the mountain. but without a doubt a sick sick ski
the ar6 and thall are the same ski except ar6 has a stiffer core so ar6 is all mountain and thall is park. I'm 99.9% sure that's the only difference. I like them more than my old 04/05 PEs, but haven't ridden the newer PEs. I figured for like 50 bucks more they were worth it cuz I wanted a lighter ski after ridin PEs for two years. The only other all mountain ski I can think of thats comprable to the ar6 and PE would be the karma, which is not worth the extra money unless you are really heavy and need a stiffer ski.
