u can get them at the end of the summer but u'll pay sky-high prices fo them. wait for the winter to pass and u can pay only semi-high prices.

i hear norco is going to be ridicuously cheap with awesome components wich probably means they cheaped out on the frame, stay away from them

Our shop is getting some of the 04 Giants in pretty soon I think. I have been looking into getting a Kona Stinky. I really want a freeride bike for jump/drop. Right now I have a Giant XTC 2.

yah I am looking into getting a Kona Stinky Dee-Lux. They sold out of them now. So does anyone know what next years will be like?

norco's look good but they are overrated (except the supercross series). but, i hear next year they have a new line comin out called the epic (not to be confused with the specialized epic) which has a rear suspension swingarm that has a completely vertical swing pattern..pretty darn cool.

The Specialized Epic is a cool ride. I tried one out at a race last year. Climbs so awesome. The reason I have been looking more at Kona is that for a jump/drop bike it is nice to have a little more travel in the rear. Most Norco only have like 2.5 inches. Except for the Norco drop. Kona makes some really sweet bikes.

Yeah, the Brain Shock is wierd. Right now I am working on building up a Jamis hardtail for jump/drop. Going to put on a new crank and fork. I want a Marzochi on it for sure

Look into the Big Hits. Specialized will treat you right. Can't go wrong with Kona or RM - solid solid bikes.

yea i was just gonna say that. i have a stinky and i love her, but i have my eyes on the bighit and a .243. next years bighit looks pretty cool to with the new frame design.mmmmm
