Effect of edge removed skis on rails

Hey, Theres a rail at my school that I want to ride but its a memorial staircase and if I dmamaged it in any way I'm sure I would get in an increadable amount of trouble and/or kicked out of school. So my question is what if any, effect do skis with no metal edges have on a hand rail? The rail is steel with a brown paint coating. Thanks

edges out = forum streetdweller

forum streetdweller = rail board of choice for many snowboarders

railboard of choice kills rails :. edges out skis shud too

because

skis have similar characteristics.

edges out = rail killer

mathematically proven by transitive theory.

i found a rail and i took it. i sanded it and it looked brand new, then i tried to hit it. it wouldnt slide so i went to see it upclose, and i noticed that a layer of metal was being scraped off, it was weirdd. so, i dunno, what it would do. the brown paint might just scrape off, which is noticeable.

now lets look at the other math

ride a rail= deep shit at school and possible expelsion
dont ride rail and just find another rail elsewhere in the city= no shit at school

i dont think the choice is hard at all

This is a super pimp 30 foot triple kink rail, with a perfect run in, the back round would also be of Long Island Sound, the 270 foot ship, Throgs Neck Bridge, and NYC.

no offence but is the rail worth not going to that school anymore? I get that its a epic rail and that its the kind we all search for but the fact that you know you'll get in shit so why risk it?

If that rail was aluminum, that would explain the metal flaking off.

well i dunno about the preservation of the memorial handrail but it will deff slide alot better without edges!!! haha id just go up there some night... preferably a weekend, build your setup... bust your shit/film whtever and dip... dont stick around or hang outat all...
