I am tired of having just a normal tripod, so I think I am going to modify my own to make it have skis on the bottom so my friend can use it cuz he sucks at filming. He always has me for the first shot and then he gets the sun or trees. Has any one else considered this or done it. Open to ideas and criticism.

That should work, just make sure that it is really stable so it doesn't fall over and wet your camera.

itll prob only work well also if the run is freshly groomed. and ya.
