Itunes 7.0?

if i download Itunes 7.0 will my library carry over?

And i have heard that the old one is better, any thoughts?

Or is there a way to get a new ipod to work with 6.0?

I want to be able to use an older mini and a new nano on the same Itunes. 6.0 has always been good and i have'nt wanted to switch - anyone?

When I upgraded my Itunes, it was super old like 5 or something, to 7.0 it carried all my library and my playlists over.. I think. I'm pretty sure it did but not 100%
