Ok, I just got my PB to work the day my new 100gb HD showed up, so now I don't have a need for it. I'd really like the extra 20gb, but is it a huge hassle to change everything over to a new HD?
Is anyone looking for a HD? I'll sell it for like $70 shipped.
I'm trying to free up some space on my HD, how much space do things like Final Cut pro HD and PS Elements and Imageready take up?

Oh yeah, can I edit video with something like Imovie? I'm don't think I need FCP, but it's such a cool program, I've kept it. Plus the person I bought my computer from spent like a $1,000 on it.

Ok, I'll put this thread to rest, my HD is being really touchy, and sometimes it freezes up really bad. So i'm just going to keep this old HD around for when it breaks.

iMovie works really well for simple things, and you can add some more complicated things to it, but if you're at all serious get into FCP. Otherwise, I'd stick to iMovie. I use FC, but when I just make quick edits and whatnot, I sometimes use iMovie simply because of its simplicity.

ahh but when you get really used to final cut it is what's best for little edits.

I am. I've been using it for a few years now. I just like a little variety sometimes, and iMovie is fun to use.
