i wanna build a box. 1.5 feet wide, 1 foot tall, about 20 feet long. im gonna use hdpe on top. im wonderin what thickness will work? and how exactly should i build the support structure. i know all about countersinking the screws and such. and what about coping? and wheres the cheapest/best place to buy hdpe?
if you dont want to use screws, you can get a sheet thinner than 1/4 inch and you can use adhesive, but if you want to use screws and countersink them, then get at lest 1/4 in. thick, and most people seem to have gotten it from us plastics
and for the supports, just make a long box, il draw you up a diagram when i get home
thats the best diagram i can make, just make a boxed in frame, with supports every few feet on the top and on the sides, then put some plywood on top and screw the hdpe into that, but make sure you countersink it
