it isn't really a d-spin though, it's more just corked and he never really came out of the cork, just tosed the bike, still cool though.

bmx if really cool. they have progressed a lot in the past 10 yrs. there was something about matt hoffman's huge are out of a quarter pipe on the forum a while ago... i just don't remember how high it was.

BMX has progressed as fast as newschool skiing...those guys do some insane tricks...Mt. Bikers and starting into the stuff too, that is a sport I cant wait to see growing Agressive Newschool Mt. Biking (there is a vid called Tourque out that is really showcasing the sport)

just lately i was reading a really old freeze mag, and it was the first freezy awards...and the biggest trick was a rodeo 720! Now you have to do D-Spin 900 tail grab, over 100ft gaps...

I call the progression.

quebecfreestyler, try leaning to the side that you spin to. it should really help with spinning you bike. at first you will land on your side and whatnot a lot, but you just have to get the hang of it. it helped me anyway. i'm not really one to be giving you instructions... i've only landed 4 360s.

Yeah Mat Hoffman built a 24-foot-tall quarter pipe and when cleared 26.5 feet.
That's 50.5 feet above the ground.

Prototype, I don't think that you can easily do a straight 720 off of a jump with that much lip- he probably went inverted because of the ramp's near-vertical kick. It DOES look like he is trying a d-spin, not a straight 720.

dude, didn't hoffman put a fuckin motor on his bike to do that. i read in Stance that he put like a 25hp motor on his bike and hooked the throtle up through the giro

that dude doing the D spin 7 would have fully landed it if he did it like an actualy D spin- just look straight up like a back flip at the end..... I'm gona try that into water this year.... ha ha... It is gona hurt.

thats cool, where is that rail? it looks like the same rail that JP does in the Freeze issue with the rail session photo issue......could be a different rail though, cuz JP's looked a bit shorted.

He was the first to land a backflip 360 on a bike. And he was almost the first to land a double back in comp. But he inspired Dave Mirra and naturally dave beat him to it.
