Hey, I've been trying to find a good pair of park-focused (that can handle some all-mtn) skis for my friend that are cheap, around $300. I had seen AR5s but they all were sold when I called the store. He's 5'10" and 155 lbs. So now I'm thinking Fischer Habits since they're sandwich construction (better durability?) and based off the Addicts. What do you guys think?
yea, I thought of them too, but I keep hearing bad things about them; especially their performance out of the park. they're cap construction vs the sandwich construction of the habits as well.
well, has anyone heard anything *bad* about the habits? I think they're a really good deal, $300 for a symmetric twin with sandwich construction. Want to make sure they're good before he spends his money.
