Heyyyy everyone, in December I registered with USASA and signed up for the Southern Vermont Series (since they don't have the freeski series anymore they are offering 30 spots to skiers in the boarder events) and I signed up for a bunch of competitions, but how will I know if I actually got into them? I haven't received an email or anything. Any thoughts haha? Also, is anyone here competing in this series? I'm kinda nervous about it hahahaa.
chances are you may be the only girl or one of the few. That serises is the bigest one in the usasa and its run kinda shity. It was nice last year when it was seperate from the snowboarders. My experince with the soulter vermont snowboard series is that its very big and kinda not to well orginized. so you may not find out if you got in. you should just call the series director i forgot his name but you can prob find his number on the usasa site.
u will know after all of the qualifiers at ur hill... if u get excepted they will send u a letter and a card and the place it is at... then u will know once u get 2 tha place
ya, thanks for the advice. I also looked on the website and you can see like who signed up and sadly there are under 30 skiers so i'm pretty sure I got in...but it says i'm the only girl on the website! this is pretty depressing! do you think this is pretty bad, I mean I still really wanna compete though, like for the experience, you know? lol
i do make it, because im the only one in it, but i havent gone yet.. and i dont think im going this year cause i think we are getting a new wakeboarding boat..
