i was just wondering if anyone buys the combined lift tickets when they go places. for example Alta/Snowbird, Big Sky/Moonlight. i never have. like one day i will ski alta then one day i will ski snowbird. i just think its kinda a waste of money, becasue usualy you wont be able to ski all of both mountains in one day.
yeah so whats the point of buying a combined lift ticket. pick which one you want and buy like a 2 or 3 day pass. or if u really want to ski both mountains ski one for 2 days and the other for 2 days. depends on how much time you got. I skied alta bout 3 years ago for a day. pritty sick, i never went to snowbird tho.
i just got home from big sky/moonlight and we already had 5 day tickets to big sky.. one day though we upgraded to the 'lone peak pass' which works for both, so that we could try out that place.. there wasnt much snow at the entire place already but moonlight was all rocks and killed my skis even more..
what i liked is that they share 2? lifts, maybe just one but we could go up those and go to either runs on either side, as long as we stayed on that lift.. Moonlight had some sicks rails up and those were fun, and i could do them on a big sky ticket..
so i would say, if the snow is really good, then just switch off every other day or something, its not really worth the 30 or so dollar upgrade..
