ok.. so i have been searching everywhere for the perfect boot for me, and was very close to buying the spk (fit good etc._)
But i really got to questioning if the difference between the really nice boots (spk, krypton, etc.) is really worth the difference in price tag. or are the reallly nice boots just for those with fat pockets.
once again sorry for another boot thread.

no dude u dont have to pay and extra 200 bucsk so you can have a "park boot" its just a scam a park boot is just a softer boot and there are plenty of boots that are soft but not labeled "park boot". I tried on the spks the dalebellos or watever the ones that tanner wears and the 1080s and still liked the a70 aerro delabello boot beter than any of them it was 1 cheaper and felt just as soft as them if not beter

the secret is a bed liner from somewhere like surefoot. Just get the cheapest boot you can find that fits fine. Then go to a surefoot place and get ur boot fitted and its wayy cheaper too

the spk actualy sucks unless all you do is park, but usualy getting tot he park involvs a bit of skiing. and god forbid there is a powder day

i have spks, buy them.
If tey fit that is.
theyre super comfy and worth every penny. I got a sweet deal so i got lucky. But wow. wowowowowowwow.
The extra money is worth it.
you get a better liner, better buckles, better fit.
with the spks, you get a crazy insane light boot thats real comfy.
Ive ridden them park (duh) and all over the mountain.
This weekend we took our first hike session and hit some bc mega jumps, deep snow, and some drops, they didnt miss anything.
Theyre really not that much compared to the gun, or some other high end boot. and its awesome!

yea i love my spks, all over the place
only knock on them is that they get kinda wet/dont seal well (where the vertical part meets the top of the foot)

ive got the kryptons, i love em. no shin bang at all, and theyre super comfortable. the only problem with buying cheap boots (like the aerro 70) is that theyre really soft torsionally too. a nice park boot would be soft front to back, but stiff torsionally. thats basically what youre paying for when you get a nice boot. otherwise, everything will feel kinda sloppy if you spinning your skis hard, or even just carving
