Have you ever BENT a ski?

I noticed yesterday that the tail on my K2 Fujis is bent. I remember screwing around tailpressing stuff but I can't imagine how it's possible to permanently bend a ski (without snapping it).
Is there anything I can do about it? If someone's got a leftover unbent 179 Fujative laying around let me know!

Fujatives are known to lose their camber, so this isn't too far fetched...
But that sucks, I would just bend it back?

i wonder if bent skis are covered under warranty haa. how bent is it? a few degrees or really noticeable?

few degrees noticeable when I put my skis in the holder on the gondola (the tips are about an inch apart which isn't that much over 179 centimeters), but not really noticeable when skiing.
I don't think warranty would go since these are still the red ones. I broke my arm last december so I didn't even ski these properly until this year

all skis lose their camber.
DO NOT try to bend it back.. .they will break.
just ride em till they snap. if they do at all.

When you saw bent I think you mean you broke the core with breaking the outside lamination of the ski
happened to the tip of my fujatives.

you can't see any damage to the outside of the ski. top coat is fine, so is the base and the edges...it's just a little bent...weird

typically ski that bend have titanium in them. Or something to help with stiffness, but most pure wood cores just snap.

I bent my volkl 6 stars a few years back just behind the tip. I was skiing during a low light snowstorm and I skied into a drift without realizing and submarined. They're decently bent but still skiable.

I had a pair of Cabrawlers (mogul skis) that bent pretty much exactly the way you describe it, right behind the heelpiece. Warranty covered it though, so now I've got a nice new pair in my closet waiting for some bumps.
