skied on my addicts for the first time yesterday and i started to notice they were chipping like crazy. theyve got a couple of core shots on em.  is this just jour normal epoxy job or is it more???

Looks like damage from the edges of the other ski. Banging them together and them getting hit together on rails, in the air, ect.

that happened to my 07 invaders but my cuts went all the way down to my core. i hate shitty construction....

Warranty doesn't cover skier use and abuse. You could try but you'll probably be laughed at.

It's like saying you want a warranty on edges because they cracked when you were doing rails.

Yah, skis can be used for that and are designed for it as well (ie. Line edges), but no company that I know will warranty damage caused by the user. It's just too subjective to be able to give consistant warranties. They may fix it, but that's as much as I have seen.

Well, I don't know what the warranty is for Fischer, but I do know that most companies I have talked to will not warranty topsheet damage.

He can try, but I wouldn't put much hope in it. For my skis, I just epoxied them and smoothed it out. I had a topsheet chip on my TMs on the first day, but it's all good after a bit of glue.

are there ways to prevent top sheet damage? like a clear cover you can put on it so it wont get ruined in the first season?

I broke a pair of ninthwards on a down rail, called up ninthward and told them that i landed funny on the tip on some moguls and i got a new pair.

I have noticed that smaller ski companies sometimes use a Snowboard topsheet cause it is cheaper.... but as you all know... snowboards don't ever bang together or have the tips crossed or anything like that... so the top sheet is way less durable.... and this is exactly what happens...

i got a hold of the shop........... if fischer warranties them, ill get next years model............. if they dont the shop will give me new skis.......... good deal!!!!!!!!!
