I'm just getting into freestyle skiing and I want to take lessons this year, I also want to buy my own pair of freestyle skis, what would be some good ones for a beginner like me? I'm 6'1, 200 lbs.

6'1" and 200 is gonna be too much person for too little ski if you get the fujatives, I'm at the upper limit of the 179s and you have a solid 50 lbs on me. If you can get some for a decent price look at the mojo 80s, you'll have them for years, even if they fall off a roof rack at 60mph. They are stiffer but your not too little to handle em. If not I would think silencers would be ok, probably more like whatever you've ridden before. Or try the Scratch FS. That or any not overly soft twin from last year in around the 180 size range with 80-85 underfoot.

red 1260's........they are so light you can get the concept of spinning hard down so next year you can go for grabs and stuff

I am about same size. I love the k2 PE, fugative and silencer may be too soft. Armada pipe cleaner is a goo pic for pipe and park. I also like the scratch BC, my choices may be too stiff for you however try demoing if you can. I would suggest center mounting on whatever ski you end up getting though. Feels liek they land better nder me.
