Hey, I was planning on getting Invaders but I got some extra money from Christmas and am wondering if it would be better to get T-Halls since they sound like more durable Invaders? Basically is it worth the $200ish (ouch) price difference?
Okay, yea, I don't mind spending 200 more if I'm going to get my money's worth. You said they're not comparable though? They seem similar being soft with flex points. T-halls aren't symmetrical, or is there a bigger difference I'm missing? Or do you mean their construction is incomparably different?
Okay, so it's their construction is different and that affects how they ski and the durability, I think. Are there any park skis like an Invader that are more learning-friendly than T-halls? I've been skiing for a long time, but I've just started doing park this year and I plan on progressing fast. Basically, I'm not sure if I should get high-end skis like T-Halls if I'm not incredibly good yet.
spend the money and get the t-halls....my new 07 invaders are falling apart after 2 days because of cheap cap constructions...believe me go for it and get the t-halls cause im super pissed about my cheap ass invaders
Yeah, that's what I was worried about. The invaders sound like a lot of fun, but I'm kind of rough of my skis, my PEs have a lot of gashes on the top sheet (I've been messy learning spins and grabs, the ptex top sheet on the 06s doesn't help either), so I think I would kill off a pair of invaders really fast.
Thank you for not being the one of the thousand minions that gets invaders i hate em but im not a fan of the thalls there ok but if i was you i would get some scratch fs wrs there cheaper then the thalls
your basicaly paying for tanners bud thats why its so much for his skis so he can get that extra half ounce of dank
i traded skis with a kid i know for about 5 runs and i really didnt like em idunno what it was i just really didnt like em i had a friend who got a pair for free so he rode down a hill of rocks with em and found every single rock he could to jump on it lol
why cus i dont have as big as a post count as you?
how about you post on topic you queer
but yea idunno why i didnt like em not saying there bad or anything i know plenty of kids who like em but i also know plenty of kids who hate them me bing one
Yes, because we all know, 5 runs is the perfect amount of time needed ot get an opinion of a ski. T-Halls are awesome. Ive ridden mine about a total of 7 days, and they are a ton of fun!
Haha, this thread got kind of crazy. Anyway, I think I'm going to get the T-Halls, I want something that's softer with flex points. The Scratches sound nice, but I want something softer. The Scratches aren't too much cheaper anyway, $50 less at my local shop. And even if I'm paying for Tanner's weed, I'd probably be paying for someone else's at Rossi if I bought the Scratches too. Thanks for your opinions.
im lovin my t-halls too. i have used 04/05 ones, but they are only little narrower. and they arent THAT soft. they are def. a durable ski. for extra $200, you can ride 2 more seasons with them.
yes and i love mine. all u hear on this site is about kids whose invaders delamed. but u never hear of the ones whos invaders are holding up great.
i rode my all last season and i warranteed them during the summer cuz of the tip edge came off...and i got a new pair and im loving them. great skis despite what most people say
good, I think I'll get them then. most of the shit about them delaming is probably not that common (I hope). this reminds me of the time when everybody on ns was bashing the 1080's
i love my new 07 invaders, they are durbale, the edges are super beefy, ive hit a good amount of rails and you cant even tell. they are really fun and surfy feeling, they are soft and butter like none other, there a really good ski in my opinion.
