Could you guys also give a reason why you think they are good for a newbie? Thanks.

There aren't any specific skis for someone who is just starting. Just get anything your size that is new and twin tip so it will last long. I suggest the Scratch FS wrs or something along those lines. They Silencers would also be an excellent ski for you if you dont charge any huge lines and just want a park ski.

He is right. If you arent going to be 100% in the park, look at a more all mtn oriented ski.
100% Park
T-Hall
Fujative
Invader
70% Park
Ar5/Ar6 (whatver is cheaper)
Thruster
Scracth FS
Troubly maker
50% Park
Public Enemy
Leep in mind, you dont need to get THIS YEARS skis. I almost always buy a season behind...Like this year i have 05/06 T-halls. I do this for a few reasons....
1 Much cheaper
2 The ski has a season to prove its self (Invaders...everyone bought them, and tons of problems)

I like the 06 Fujatives, but I'm really looking for a 50/50 park/mountain ski, but I like the new Thrusters alot.

Get a stiffer ski like the Ar5, Ar6, PE, or chronics they will be softer for you than what people say cause im about the same size as you and find them to be good and not too stiff I have the Ar6's
All times are Eastern (-5)
