anybody have the scoop on what's up for next yr? would be dope if more companies copied fischer with symmetrical dimensions (though my addicts seem a little softer on one side than the other, maybe just me) or maybe sum more cool powder skis, but ones that also make skiing switch in powder easier, like twin spats or args or pontoons. kinda gettin used to the same shit comin out every year, lookin for somethin new to think about.
Fischer copied Line, which had the original true twin with the 1260s (original white and then orange ones with sidewall construction) and then the Invaders, followed by the Anthems.
As to your question, I think you will see a few more true twins out there, and probably some new dope fat freestyle skis.
naw, the 1260s [and the triplets, cause i've heard sum ppl saying the trips are true twins] were wider at the tip than at the tail, meaning that they could not be switched up for mounting.
No, the original 1260s we're completely symmetrical. I used to be the product manager for Line, trust me. Once we switched to cap construction they became directional in sidecut, but maintained equal height tip and tail.
^ not anymore with the ception of the invaders line are been puttin out some durable skis. my mike nicks from 04/05 -the blue ones- are durable are shit.
