not much up yet. 2 small boxes. they were blowing like crazy but this weathers killing that idea. as soon as it gets cold again there going to continue to blow and try and get some bigger rails out.
wa wa blows all the time. they got like 3 boxes up. two small ones that are put together and a big one. there all only like 8 feet long. so it really sucks
yeah it wasnt to bad. im just pissed at this shitty weather. the only problem last year was on of the jumps had like a rut in the landing like the entire year and they never fixed it
The last jump was nice when it wasn't a death pit as a landing. Its near impossible to take the right ammount of speed into it because they build the lip so big and then like 5ft gap then landing.
They need to carve off half of the top of the jump they had last year so they have like a 35-45ft jump with a mellow lip and long landing. They can't pull of the west coast style of jump where its big lip steep/safe landing they just dont have enough trail
yeah that was only on the first 15 foot booter maybe if you grew a pair and hit the 55 footer you wouldnt have had that problem haha and all the other jumps were fine as long as you hit the bigger jump of the booter
The main event was the name of the big booter last year and yeah the lip was too steep but that was such an ill jump I think it was 55ft at one point maybe bigger so nice for floated threes and shit
Yay for hating on peeps who don't hit big jumps because they aren't ready for them yet.
Shit. Don't worry if your not hitting 55ft jumps and getting hated on for it man. If all your up to is 15ft good for you dont let peeps give you grief. Better to ramp up at your own pace then end up in a hospital.
Plus there is a MASSIVE difference in 15-55. And there is no way in fuck the jump at wawa last year was 55ft. Unless they changed it briefly. I was there at least once every week, and I never hit a jump that was anywhere remotely close to 55ft, and I don't even think they have enough room to get speed for a jump that big there.
But yeh they had a pretty legit jib line set up last year, if only the park crew would stop admiring the jackets they get to wear and actually focus on maintaining the shit there. And would it hurt them all that much to use at least a wire brush on the rails every once in a while?
^ the jump was close to 50 easily the last one on he right and im not hatin on him dude haha were best freinds haha and he hit every jump except that one cause he only saw it noce before the season ended he would have hit it ... after i did as usual haha kid takes some hard falls but shreds even harder
^ yeah the park crew doesnt do shit but i dont see where u get of talking about people hating on kids who dont do big jumps... we werent saying that, just that the jumps were pritty legit last year. And it was 55 i think it might have gotten up to 60 at one point. but i may be mistaken
Ya the jump was not 55 feet. Dave, he runs the park, told me it was about 40 feet (maybe 60 ft with air time). The lip was not big, a booter really kicks you high. That jump was smooth with no back kick to it, I hit it all year it was a good set up.
I thought for no snow they did a great job last year, I expect good things if we ever get any snow.
Right now it sucks, a 2 box "ride on" setup they change up (8 fters) a small rail, and a short (8 ft) box at the end. Have not been in a week though, so it may have changed.
All of it is on the Monadnock chair, so it is real easy to hike.
