im angry at myself because of the sheer time i spend on boxes and rails but can never bring myself to do a 270. probably because of all the bruises ive gotten trying them. any tips on how to pull off a 270 would be great.
yeah, i think ill go ou 2morow and start working on that. although my back and neck are freaking killing me from the compression on this 20 foot drop i found.
when you spin the 270 on, spot the rail at 180, this way you wont spin over and nut yourself. i dont think of it as a 270 on, more of a 180 plus a litttle, this will also ome in handy when trying pretzel. remeber, the spot is key.
also, forward 270 on is much more impressive than a swith 270 on...
its because u can see ur whole way around the whole time. 270's on are blind after the first 180 but just follow through and look for the rail or box under your boot.
YOu could try rollerblading, or trying them on flat ground at your house or somethin, but start small. and search for Alex_thedroog on here. He pulls some super sick 270's on and off and even blindside 270s. He could probably help ya out.
thanks for everyones input. after about an hour of trial and error im stomping them pretty consistantly. im ognna work on 270/switchup/270 2morrow. any tips on that 1?
Keep your eyes up. Pop straight up, not to the side. Land with your feel shoulder width appart, and be light on your feet. You will rock those 270s before you know it.
keep your eyes looking between your feet that way you keep your rotation, then just pop a little bit when your about to get to paralell with the rail, after the switch up then look to the end and your momentium should carry you right off 270
