Alright i finally got my own cell phone and it only had one bar left of battery. I put it in the charger about an hour and a half ago and its not fully charged. Can I unplug the charger and use my phone without messing up the life/ memory of my battery?
as a rule with cell phone batteries.......you should let it charge fully before you use it......then you let it die completely before charging it ....then recharge it back to full and your good to go
Not anymore, that was only when the batteries were made out of Nickel Cadmium, within the last 3-4 years they have all switched over to Lithium Ion batteries and you can charge them however much you want and they don't lose their max potential. Its safe to take it off the charger whenever you want.
