Fat skis

actually pollard uses those as a park ski only, believe it or not. He uses prophets for all mountain and bacons for bigger BC stuff (from what I gather, and from the video on lines website when he is ridin prophets out of the park) so yea they're probably pretty fun in the park, but also probably not for everyone. I want some real bad.

So do you mean that this ski expect much from the rider ? so i hafto be a good skier to get good control over the ski ?

nope, I just meant some people might not like the feel of a fat park ski as much as others. if you like 'em big the lizzies should be mad fun regardless of your skill level, although it would make shit like spinning on/off rails and switch ups and all that goodness.

for me apparently I'm a bigger fan of a 'smaller' ski for the park, not length but width. I ride last years Foils for all mtn and thought even those were a bit bigger than I wanted for park. I got this years SPKs and love them for the park, now that might have to do w/ the fact I'm not exactly xgames status in the park and the lighter ski makes it easier to ollie onto stuff and spin a bit easier.

just saying... that might be along the lines of what he was saying as far as liking or not liking a fatter ski for the park..

I've taken my THA 187s into the park and didn't like it. They're pretty stiff, so they stomped landings on jumps, but I found them kind of difficult to sping. I mean, they're pretty light for a fat ski, but I just couldn't spin them like I could my Chronic Wides. To each their own because apparently Rory won a pipe comp on THAs, so there you go.
