Pretty much. They are a lot harder then back flips because its awkward to pop of a steep lip. You cant see your landing till the last minute either but they definitely aren't as scary as back flips. You gotta pop from the tips of your skis to get them around.
I was just wondering wot other peoples attempts were like cos i did it frist go last week and it was just a spar of the moment thing but i still havent done a back flip yet but im going to wait till the next snow fall befor giving it ago.
I was just wondering what other peoples attempts were like. I did my first frontflip last week and it was just a spur of the moment thing. I still have not done a back flip yet, but i plan on waiting until the next snow ball before giving it a go.
My first front flip was off a cornice so I didn't have to worry about the steep jump lip thing. They're pretty easy off cliffs/cornices/roofs/down-slanting takeoffs.
