Flat down flat box

i am thinking about building a flat down flat box and i am wondering what i should do about the sides as in the coping. i am wnating to use angle irons because i got a tone of them so if any has any seguestions weathger you think i even need the coping?? that would be great.

copings not mandatory, ive made all my boxes with out it. but if you have it lying around... use it. it will make it last much longer
