Ok, so I know a little bit about filming and editing, but almost nothing about cameras. Right now I have a canon Elura 60 that is a few years old, and I would like to purchase something that is actually decent. I want to get something that is gonna have good overall picture and sound quality, doesnt need to be HD, has some options available for lenses and such, and that will consistently work well and be reliable. As far as price goes, 800-850 is proabably my highest and I know that will vary depending on the retailer I buy from. I know I'm a n00b, but as we all know there are tons of options out there, and any help as far as what to look for in a cam or actual camera models I should look at would be greatly appreciated.
