so i am pretty technology retarded, so i am asking for a lil help. my mom and dad gave me a lil note that was wrapped in paper (lil corny but hey) thats said i could get a ipod for christmas. but they didn't know which one so they told me to research and figure out and tell them. this is what i am thinking....i will prolly ski with it once in a while, not all the time so i don't want it bouncing around. but i also don't wanna fall on it and have it break. the video is cool, but how often do people on here watch vids on theirs? and the nano wouldbe sweet cause i have no idea that it is in my pocket. i thought about just going with the new shuffle, but the lack of screen makes me unsure. let me know what you think. thanks. and i posted it in this forum to get the most responces, so don't give me shit for not putting it in a different one.
well it depends how much music you have and listen to. 2 years ago i bought the mini but i seriously regretted the lack of space in it (only 4 gb). If i were you i would get the video.
aight sounds good. friends of mine have broken there there video and nano screens. like its in there pocket and they sit down and the inkyu stuff bleeds everywhere and the screen is usless. thats why i was thinking suffle. is the vid clunky in your pocket?
i've owned and ski'd with both the video and nano. Basically what it comes down to is when you're all geared up with all your ski shit on you can barely notice the video in your pocket, and i haven't had any battery problems skiing with it so far. The nano was absolutely perfect for skiing tho, the cold didnt affect it at all, its light, i even fell on it a couple times and didnt have any problems, you just gotta buy a decent hard case for it, not just a silicone sleeve. If you dont have more than 8 gigs of music and don't plan on having more than 8 gigs then i would definitely go for the nano, i would still be using my nano today if it hadn't been stolen.
