whos better right now? i assume tyrol has all their usual rails up. ive never been to cascade, but ive heard better things every year. im at my parents house near madison the next few days and need something to do. any info on whos got better rails/jumps/snow would be great.
Tyrol has a new guy running the park this year and the stuff has been maintained and set up with wide lips, Im expecting very good things from them this year, although I wont be around.
cascade was sick today, im glad i chose there. imo, way better than i've seen tyrol in a long time. tyrol always has a ton of shit up, but it's mostly ride-ons, and not well maintained. everything was set up real nice at cascade, rails and jumps alike. the wallride tranny was screwy, but people worked around it. nice meeting you all.
flat drop flat, flat shotgun, a nice 15 ft(?) table, flat rail (set up nice w/ a proper take off & landing), small 10 ft table, flat gap down box(es), and a wallride. hopefully that made sense.
Went and checked out sunburst a couple days ago and the weather has beat up the park. The big park was closed and needed snow, the little park had a few boxes out. They need more cold weather.
yea, jordan is the new park guy so we are looking at a good season of well paintained features. check the snow report on tyrolbasin.com they have the list of everything. get out early too, cause fresh groom if good but it gets sloshy quickly
cascade now has a 2 jump line. 35' into a 55'. the 55' is the smoothest i've ever hit.
and they have another jump but not in that line, its a 20-25'.
for rails they have a big gap to a 10' DB, 22' DB, 20' flat, 24' box top rail. and don't throw out the beginner rails, 22' DB in the snow, 15' flat about 1' high, and a box in the snow.
oh yeah forgot to mention the focus boxes are set up up-gap-down and then the wallride is up again except a huge tranny and its really sick, so smooth too.
