but what you said above is what i would say. when i feel myself spinning on boxes i usually just hop and do a switchup. I'm not that great so it's still hard for me to stop spinning after 2s
you should try to do switch ups instead of ''surface spin''. its much nicer and you can do them on rails when you get better, but you cant do 'surface spin'' on a rail.
(in case you dont know, switch up is when you jump when you are ON the rail, than do a 180 and land ON the rail again...)
