No its actually a different way then the 4231 method. There is a new machine that a soda drops onto a belt that takes the soda to the opening. If you block that opening it thinks that the soda never came out and will let you get another one so you get 2 sodas for one

Yes. You can get more than just 1 free one also, but it takes skill to pull them all out on time. The machine jams a lot trying this as well
