its about grip, its alot easier to grip a rail cuz they arent as wide, and its much easier to grip a barrel rail than a flat rail. so try starting on barrel rails or skinny flat rails
i love spinning of small single barrel rails, its so easy and smooth, boxes on the other hand are poop for spinning off unless you spin on and can carry the momentum
Dude dont bother with spinning off boxxes. Work on rails first. and you can do it one of two ways. You can force your skis around (looks pretty sick if done right, like on an urban), or you can use your head and bring it around (harder to do on smaller features, or with shaddy landings).
you need the rail high enough to spin off of and start spinning like a foot before the end unless your going really slow......if you pretzle 270 dig your edges in and push off with you skis
it's plenty possible. just start gettin readin to set your spin as soon as you get on the box, get your shoulders in position so that when you pop at the end of the box you will spin and turn your head. it's awkward, but if you are very determined you can do it. also if you side with one edge of the box under your foot you can grip the edge pretty easy.
