Ok so as many or none of you might know, ive had these prophet 130s and i was planning of mounting some s810ti bindings that i had. Many NSers bitched about that and kept telling me to get some different bindings and put those on ( even though i am fucking dirt poor and can bearly afford to feed my self). So one day i get a message from some one on NS saying they want to GIVE me ( thats right GIVE) some Scratch 140 bindings with wide brakes. I was soo stunned i came in my pants just a little bit. So i wanted to offer the guy something in return ( no he did not accept my body....but i did try).
Like some Anon goggles, the s810ti bindings, or both....but he did not want anything, except for me to just be good person and do someone else a favor like that. Anyways thats my story, and i will tell it again sometime. I think that this site is slowly going back to the way it was....and its becoming a cool place to be again. Just wondering if anything like that has happened like that to you guys on this site?
Anyways.......let the "Cool Story Hansel"s begin.

It makes me happy to read something like this on here. Haven't heard a story like that in a while. I remember back like 3-4 years ago I was looking for a pair of skis. I randomly got a message from this kid Sean who was willing to hook me up with a brand new pair of the blue concepts (year after they came out) and a pair of Look P12s for fucking $300! I was sooo absolutely stoked. This kid is the man. Thanks Seany.

I just realized that someone did send me something free. It was there first ski video and it hasn't gotten here yet. I think he said he was sending it sometime in January.

That's such a great story, it brings up another reason why I really love skiing. If you really think about it, the VAST majority of skiers will do little things to go out of their way to help each other out. Think about how many times you've gotten picked up at the side of the highway when you didnt have a lift to the mountain (or how many times you've given someone a lift), the people who stick around and offer you tips in the park when you're just learning, helping you pick up all your gear after you have a huge crash, and all the other small and not so small stuff people do for each other just because they're a fellow skier. Beyond the occasional bullshit you get with people who let ther ego's get the better of them, skiers are a pretty sweet bunch of people.

Most of that hate is just people being stupid or too serious and not taking a joke. What a great thing for someone to do, hooking up a fellow skier who needs the help. That man will go to a heaven where it snows every day.

I am in no way, shape or form sponsored by Rossi. But their binders are pretty useful.

Wow matt, that's awesome that you're keeping the Prophets and getting sweet bindings to put on them, props to Guddgulf for being the coolest guy on NS in a long time, figures that he's from Montana...Montana people are the nicest folks I've ever been around.

Eastvailhucker hooked me up with some tight Orage gear. I bet he could have sold it for more, but was very friendly and sold the stuff below the profit he could have made. NS always works better when people are kind. I remember sending my NS hoodie to a kid whose dad was dying. Yours is a cool story though, Mat
