True center on TMs

the online shop that i bought from messed up and mounted them at recommended..
do you guys know where the true center of a 182 troublemaker is?

haha.. obviously.. but are you sure that u take half the entire ski lenght and not the running surface?

lol.. im tired.. but are you sure that you measure the entire ski(182) and divide that by 2, instead of the running surface? because the tips are larger than the tails you know..

thing is.. with the tm's the grind plate isnt true center.. it is at recommended.. so will that put your edges at risk? think about it frau

if you're trying to find TRUE center, then it's 1/2 because that will be the true center of the ski. i would mount -1 or 2cm from that point, but compare that to the recommended and see how you feel.

alright here u go, put the ski on your shop bench, put something heavy on them so they are flat, not cambered up. mark on the band with a pen right where the tip and the tail leave the table, where they curve up, make sure these are as exact as possible, measure that distance divide it by 2, you get the picture

true center is only 6cm from suggested you will be fine.
