Im making my first trip of the year up there and their website as usual has nothing on their park right now. It sounds like the snows gonna be super good so i prolly wont even head to the park but who knows..... So whats the park off skyliner looking like and hows the pipe/jumps off pine martin?
it's all good. last i saw (last weekend) the pipe wasnt cut, but hopefully it is now. Pine martin has three really small jumps with lots of rails, and the chamber had only 2 mid sized hits.. *take note this is from knowledge of last weekend.
according to the website they cut the pipe on thursday, and the main features are supposedly up in air chamber. yes there are tons o rails in slopestyle
they have updates on the webpage, go to current conditions and then click on grooming report. park updates are at the top
dude, you need to ski at some new places, bachelors snow maybe be dry when compaired to hoodoo but it's not dry or light 90% of the time and I would know, i've had a pass their for about 17 years.
i love it, it makes us better skiers and its that much easier to ski "champagne powder" at utah and other places. kids come from utah and colorado and cant ski the sludge
funny that you mention this, because it is true that a lot of people do this.. but most of the people on this site don't do that.... well except maybe cameron sometimes. haha
^ I'm new to town and think the bowl and hiking off northwest are pretty snazzy... but then again, I'm sure after this season even those areas will be flat to me.
I heard that they take your pass if you jump off the lift! What's up with that?
Also... FUCK! The road is closed! I was about to drive up to the mountain and thought I should check the weather... glad I did, but this sucks! 10 inches of fresh and I'm at home... boo!
The road was closed this morning, but I had a friend staked out at the inn of the 7th mountain and he called me as soon as they reopened it. The snow was really heavy! After a few hours skiing in that, my legs were jelly.
