I just got word from my dad who is on Ski Patrol at Bristol mountain about some new rules on the mountain. This rule concerns "inverted maneuvers" and skiing in the woods off of trails. The new rule is that these activities are not recommended. That means that they are no longer against the rules. You cannot get your pass pulled for either of theses things. So once there is enough snow for some actual jumps, you can flip to your hearts content.

thats always been the rules... I asked my friends dad who is on ski patrol like 3 years ago if we can get in trouble for going in the woods and he said no... he even showed me a bunch of trails.

If I get in trouble for going into the trees with my bright blue suit, I blame your dad.
