I just got my 4FRNT 412 Deadbolts mounted on my 4FRNT VCTs. I skied on them for four days and the toe-piece broke. How shitty is that? Does anyone have any info on how to get my warranty replacement?
hmm hope my 614s dont do that....first bad thing ive ever heard about them. im guessing talk to the shop you bought them at...maybe your too heavy for the 412s
YOU BOUGHT VCTS YOU FUCKING RETARD! GET SOME FUCKING 816'S AND STOP BEING A LITTLE BITCH. 412'S ARE FOR 10 YEAR OLDS WITH THEIR AR3's. STOP BEING A BITCH AND BUY WHAT YOU FUCKIN NEED.
anyone can ride 412's have the same din setting as px12's and all deadbolts are built the same so durablity is equal so are you saying px12's are for ar3's aswells.
kid only wieghs 130lbs he'd break his leg in 816s u idiot haha, kids on ns dont know anything about din, he's fine on 412s, they broke because of a fault in the binding
i got a pair of deabolts and they nice and i like them i lot, i think the toe piece is the thing right behind the front part of the binding, mine is white with a black border and yes one of mine is gone too. it might just been never put on but it doesnt realy serve any purpose for the deabolt like other bindings it is used for realeasing but the deadbolts dont do that, so i dont think you need it
at 130lbs he might use a din of 8 but that would be if and only if he skis like Seth. and anyway he would not need the 816's then and should go with the 412's or 614's or are you seriously suggesting that he would need a din of over 12 or 14 at 130lbs? becuase if you are i would love to be your doctor and hate to be your insurence agent.
din is used for expierence and people were suggestion i ride around a 9-10 so the 412's are perfect. And all the deadbolt bindings are made exactly thee same so no one is stronger then the other. All bindings will have there defects every now and again.412 has same din seting as px12 jib.
ALL THE DEADBOLTS ARE MADE EXACTLY THE SAME SO NO MODEL IS STRONGER THEN THE OTHER
Hey cool it dude. All 4FRNT bindings are made the same. I've been riding my LOOK bindings on my Public Enemys at a din of 6. I havent broke them in a year. So I dont know whats up with these 4FRNTs. I skied on themfor four days and they fucking broke. I MEAN I BENT THE WHOLE TOE-PIECE IN HALF.
ummmmmmm, i actually have no idea what that first line was supposed to mean.
as for the bindings, there is no way in hell a 130 lb person needs more than a 12 din binding it was obviously just a defective toe piece that I'm sure will get waranteed. Just call up 4frnt and they will be able to tell you how to do it.
Haha yeah im going to try and type better so you all can understand what it is i am saying. No probs man, i admit my sentence above made very little sense, ya have every right to make fun.
yo 4frnt bindings are the exact same as the ones 85% of world cup dh racers use.. they are tight bindings, cant remeber the world cup companies name, but its like rossi and look
it's the company that makes 4frnts. they also made nordicas, not sure if they still do... but yea all I know for sure is they make 4frnt's bindings and according to whoever it was in this thread they make world cup bindings...
i was talking to the 4frnt rep and he said that the toe piece has been breaking because of the binding being set wrong. He said that either the kid was changing his own din or the shop set it wrong, so its not actually 4FRNTS falt, but hes says they warrenty them anyway, so send them in.
